TOM BAUMAN worked in accounting and management for over 35 years. During that time, he also volunteered as a planning commissioner, city councilor, and mayor of the City of Mt. Angel. Tom has served on various state and national boards in the telecommunications industry, most notably as president of the Oregon Telecommunications Association from 1990 to 1992. He received the organizations President’s Award in 1993, followed by the outstanding service award in 1994. In the local community, Tom has served on the board of directors of the Silverton Health Foundation, Providence BNC Foundation, Mid-Willamette Valley Community Action Agency, Oregon Community Foundation advisory council, the Mt. Angel Lions Club, the Chamber of Commerce, and his church. Tom joined the Mt. Angel Community Foundation board in 2010 and is currently serving as Secretary.
