Scholarship CoordinatorIRENE NOVICHIHIN is a retired educator. She graduated from Western Oregon State, and received an MA from Portland State University in Curriculum and Instruction. Irene was a Principal in the Woodburn school district from 1997-2017 and an elementary teacher from 1986 - 1997. Irene was married for 43 years until her husband passed away. She has two daughters, marvelous son-in-laws and and two grandchildren. Irene has lived in Mt. Angel for 20 years. Irene believes education is a key factor to success as an adult, which is why she joined the Mt. Angel Foundation; to help facilitate the opportunity for students to further their education.
